How to Choose the Right AHA CPR Certification Class Format: Blended Learning or In-Person

At Florida Health Science Consulting, we offer all three American Heart Association (AHA)-approved CPR training formats:

  • Blended Learning: Online + In -Person
  • In-Person Classes

No matter which format you choose, you’ll receive the same valid AHA certification card — accepted by employers, schools, and licensing agencies across the country.

Here’s how to decide which format fits your needs best:

Blended Learning: Online with In-Person Skills Check

Best for:

  • Independent, self-paced learners
  • Individuals renewing their certification
  • Those with busy or unpredictable schedules

You complete the AHA’s online learning module at your own pace and then schedule a short, in-person skills check with us to demonstrate your hands-on ability.

In-Person CPR Classes

Best for:

  • First-time CPR students
  • Hands-on learners
  • Groups or teams needing on-site training

In this traditional classroom format, you complete the entire course in person with a certified AHA instructor — including lecture and skills practice — in one session.
