🚨 Emergency Medical Response (EMR) Course – NREMT Approved | Florida Health Science Consulting
Gain the skills and confidence to act in medical emergencies before EMS arrives. Our Emergency Medical Response (EMR) course is approved through the Florida Department of Health, Bureau of EMS and prepares you to be certified by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT).
Be the First to Respond – Not the Last to React
Whether you’re in law enforcement, security, outdoor recreation, education, or public service, immediate medical intervention saves lives. Our EMR course prepares you to provide professional-level emergency care in out-of-hospital settings, so you can respond confidently to trauma, cardiac, and medical emergencies until EMS professionals arrive.
Who Should Take This Course?
The Emergency Medical Response program is designed for individuals and teams who may be first on scene when an emergency happens:
- Law enforcement officers & correctional officers
- Security, crowd control, and event staff
- Lifeguards & park rangers
- Workplace Emergency Response Team members
- CERT and disaster response team members
- Athletic trainers, coaches, and school staff
- Outdoor guides & public safety officials
This training bridges the gap between basic first aid and EMT-level care, giving you a structured, NREMT-aligned pathway without requiring a full EMT license.

*State Licensure and Credentialing of Emergency Medical Responders
An individual who has been trained and certified in Emergency Medical Response will not be licensed or credentialed to practice emergency medical care as an EMS provider within an organized state EMS system. EMS provider licensing and credentialing are legal activities performed by the state, not Health Science Consulting. Individuals who require or desire licensure and credentialing within the state EMS system must complete specific requirements established by the regulating authority, typically a state EMS agency within the state health department.
The Emergency Medical Response program is approved through the Florida Department of Health, Bureau of EMS. Students are eligible to take the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) EMR certification exam upon successful completion of the course.
