1. In-Person PALS Certification

Classroom-based PALS training from start to finish at our Tallahassee training center. Ideal for learners who want comprehensive, instructor-led training with hands-on practice.

Is there a prerequisite for the PALS course?
Yes. You should have a current BLS certification and a solid understanding of pediatric assessment, EKG interpretation, and pharmacology. Many employers require current BLS before taking PALS.
How long is the PALS certification valid?
The American Heart Association PALS Provider eCard is valid for 2 years from the date of issue.
Do I receive my eCard the same day?
Yes. In most cases, your AHA PALS eCard is issued the same day you successfully complete all course requirements.
Do I need to complete HeartCode® PALS before the blended skills session?
Yes. For the blended learning format, you must complete the AHA HeartCode® PALS online portion (Part 1) and bring your completion certificate to your in-person skills session (Parts 2 & 3).
